Inspired by a vintage antique find, this is Fig Tree & Co.s version of a make do patchwork, using favorite large florals, toweling stripes, linens and other nubby textured fabrics. Designer Joanna Figueroa used actual toweling pieces for the [k] pieces and used up scraps in other parts. She recommends washing toweling prior to use to get a more used feel and even perhaps tea staining them if they are too white [more info on last page of pattern]. She also added the textured fabrics into the pieced blocks and used her favorite (4) large florals in the [a] blocks. The rest is up to you!
